Directions for User
The usual oral dose in horses is 1 or 2gm per 500lbs, but not to exceed 4gm daily. Use a relatively high dose for the first 48 hours, then reduce gradually to a maintenance dose. Maintain the lowest dose capable of producing desired clinical response.
Special Precautions
This medication should not be used in animals allergic to it. If no significant clinical response is evident after 5 days, re-evaluate diagnosis and therapeutic approach. This medication is not for use in horses intended for food. Keep out of reach of children.
